We are currently hiring for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to complete home care visits in our senior client's homes located in the Durham, NC area.

The Nursing Assistant is the heart of the clinical team, providing direct care and activities of daily living for our residents that they cannot do for themselves. You will be rewarded with smiles and gratitude from the elderly participants you provide care to!

Must be available for a shift between 7 am and 9 pm and every other weekend.

SHIFT: Must work every other weekend and be available for shifts between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.

OBJECTIVE:  The C.N.A. goes to the homes of our elderly participants and completes home visits; will work in the Day Center as needed. The primary role of the Certified Nursing Assistant is to provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care, activities of daily living, incidental homemaking and personal care in accordance with established agency nursing care procedures as directed by supervisors.  The Nursing Assistant reports any noted changes in the participant as they are noted.

Assist residents with activities of daily living
Reports promptly to the nurse any changes in the resident condition
Immediately reports any suspected abuse or neglect per facility policy
Accurately utilize electronic systems of documentation as required by facility policy
Attends / Completes educational offerings and obtains at least twelve (12) hours of continuing education a year per state regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.    High school graduate or equivalent.
2.    State approved nursing assistant course completion/certification, or enrollment in approved course per state guidelines. C.N.A. certification.
3.    CPR Certified.
4.    Have current drivers license and reliable vehicle
5.    Must be a team player.
